Last week, the government outlined that events over 500 people are denied until the end of July because of corona virus pandemic. This decision affects significantly in Youth Athletics Games (YAG), witch originally was supposed to be in mid June. Event date has been already moved to 31.7.-2.8.2020.
– We follow decisions and instructions that come from the authorities. The government will do the decisions regarding Agust’s events in June. We will decide and inform in early May if we’r going to wait official outlining or move the event ’til next year, says project manager Piia Jäntti (SUL).
